Job description
- Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to determine their strengths, limitations, and goals related to daily activities.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals. These plans may include therapeutic activities, exercises, environmental modifications, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
- Intervention: Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving clients’ ability to perform daily activities such as self-care tasks, work-related tasks, and leisure activities.
- Education: Educate clients, their families, and caregivers about techniques, strategies, and equipment to maximize independence and safety in daily activities.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and speech therapists, to provide holistic care and achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
- Advocacy: Advocate for clients’ rights and access to services and resources that promote participation and inclusion in their communities.
- Research and Development: Stay updated on evidence-based practices and participate in continuing education and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
