Drinking water project

Clean drinking water is a basic right for any person. The lack of drinking water, however, is a serious problem that affects the lives of people in parts of India. Despite public investment in sanitation and water, many low-resource communities continue to suffer. In rural, and some urban areas, women and children walk for hours to find water. Often, even this water is unclean and should not be consumed. Thanal has launched a campaign to construct freshwater wells in these villages and settlements. Our hope is to reduce the labour required to get such a basic necessity of life. We hope to safeguard our women and children and provide safe drinking water to thousands. So far, we have constructed 300 wells in different parts of the country. Our goal: 1000 more wells in the area by 2022
