A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Thanal – Daya Rehabilitation Trust and the SAFI Institute of Advanced Study (Autonomous), an autonomous higher education institution located in Vazhayur East, Rasiya Nagar.
The MoU aims to strengthen social work education, field practice, and community rehabilitation, while enhancing collaboration across academic and service sectors. Key objectives of the partnership include providing internship, fieldwork, and training opportunities for SAFI students at Thanal’s various centres and community projects; facilitating joint research initiatives; and promoting professional capacity building and peer-support programmes.
The agreement was formally signed by Dr. Idrees V, Chairman, Thanal – Daya Rehabilitation Trust, and Prof. E.P. Imbichikoya, Principal, SAFI Institute of Advanced Study.
