The event was inaugurated by C.H. Mariyath, a disability rights activist who now serves at Calicut University. K.G. Girish Kumar, News Editor of the Mathrubhumi daily newspaper, attended as the chief guest. Thanal Chairman Dr. Idrees V, Thanal CEO ANOOP K T., General Secretary Nassar T I, Fareeda Salam, Aboobackar, and Dr. Shanila also addressed the gathering.
A variety of artistic performances by children with diverse abilities from Thanal Malaparambu were showcased, each one captivating the audience. The Oppana performance by mothers, the songs by Emmanuel and Anagha, and the dance performances by Dhanya and Vaishnav transported the spectators into a world of magic and emotion.
The inclusive spirit of the event reached its peak during the Thanal Inclusive Song Festival, where the children were joined by the Nattuvelicham Gana Mela team and the Kozhikode City Police Gana Mela team.
